Friend of IMMB Named Partner of the Quarter

Paul Lahr, a friend of IMMB, was recently named Partner of the Quarter for Starbucks Coffee Company’s Area 66.  This HUGE honor is due in part to Paul’s involvement in the community and the partnerships he has built with organizations such as IMMB.  Not only is he extremely talented in his role within Starbucks, but he continually goes above and beyond to represent the company and community.  Read the excerpt below written as part of his nomination by his store manager…

Paul is a great contributor to our community. When our store was remodeled, Paul located a non-profit organization to whom we could donate our old walk-in mild refrigerator, and made a lasting partnership with the Indiana Mothers’ Milk Bank. The relationship has gotten Starbucks much Facebook and media press with the Milk Bank, and our continued partnership has resulted in increased VIA and traveler sales. Moreover, Paul regularly connects with our community partners at Wheeler Mission by dropping of our pastry donations…even on Christmas Eve. Paul is also a regular (yet new) member of the Women’s Development Network.

Paul continually strives to find creative ways for his store to partner with nonprofit groups throughout Indianapolis.  Most recently, he is serving on the planning committee for the Indianapolis March of Dimes March for Babies, along with IMMB Program Manager, Dane Nutty.  He truly is a great friend of the nonprofit industry and great steward of the values set forth by Starbucks leadership.

Please check out the North Michigan Road Starbuck’s Facebook Page (managed by who other than Paul himself!).  As a patron of this store, I can guarantee you will not find a better customer-centered experience in Indianapolis!  Thank you Paul, and the entire N. Michigan Road Starbucks, for your continued support of IMMB and the nonprofit community!
