IMMB is excited to announce our presence at the 2011 INShape Indiana Black & Minority Health Fair. Our 3rd year at this event, we are partnering with the Indiana Black Breastfeeding Coalition (IBBC) and Indianapolis Healthy Start (IHS) to provide education, resources, and awareness about breastfeeding to the African-American community.
The African-American community has historically low breastfeeding rates and organizations such as IMMB, IBBC, and IHS are making strides to improve these rates.
The health fair runs from Friday, July 15 to Sunday, July 17, 2011. If you are interested in volunteering at this great event, you can find the volunteer sign up form here.
